Frequently asked questions
Can I open a Shopify store from Türkiye?
Yes. But Türkiye isn't supported by Shopify Payments, so you accept payments through third-party providers such as iyzico or PayTR, and Shopify then charges an additional transaction fee that depends on your plan.
Can I use Shopify Payments with a US LLC?
Under Shopify's requirements you need a US checking account and an EIN; owners who don't live in the US can verify with a passport instead of an SSN. The business address must be a real physical address in the US.
Can I connect my Shopify store to Amazon?
Shopify's Marketplace Connect app connects to Amazon, eBay and (US only) Walmart, so you can manage products, inventory and orders in one place.
